I can only imagine what's all around the Great Lakes...I mean there are some nice boats on Lake Norman here and although it's a decent size for a lake it's still just a pond or even a puddle compared to that. :lol:

There were several more there that day that had bigger engines but I'm pretty sure all of them were one type replica or another and no originals.

I hear you. I used to go down every year to visit him, now days seems I'm always swamped and haven't been in a few years. I have to find time soon.
I don't know what is more impressive the eye candy on the boats or the sound of the engines as they idle by. he lives just close enough to open water you can hear it when they leave the "channel" and open 'em up. OMG!!!!
I'm hoping to step up to something in the 21-23 foot range next year but I'd love to score just a ride on one of those cigarettes one day.
