Spikes tactical, midwayusa, Dawson precision and CTD all joined in in limiting sales to LEOs in states with restrictions

Potterfield is a BOSS.

My review finally got posted on midwayusa. Its the latest one.

Ok... newly released information about Newtown states that the shooter was motivated by the media coverage of the Norwegian shooter and swapped magazines more often than necessary, so they think he was acting like it was a video game.
So, motivated by the media coverage of a mass shooting and didn't use the full capacity of his high-capacity magazines... put that in your pipe and smoke it. |

Don't know the story beyond what you typed but just like people, dogs can be assholes, too. Just saying. My neighbor's dog is a little asshole.

I don't think you can really do the same with dogs and normally raised people as far as blaming parents/owners. A dog is always going to be completely controlled by it's owner. The owner decides how much socialization/training/type of training/exercise/mental stimulation/diet/everything for the entire dog's life. A normally raised individual will have interaction beyond the parent's environment. There will be obivious exceptions as always. Mentally unstable dogs and humans raised in fucked up crazy conditions. For a standard dog though, the owner is definitely to blame for the behavior of the dog. |

M-Tac Minotaur holster came in the mail today. Initial thoughts are that it looks good. It's well made and the ability to adjust ride height and cant is great. The Kimber fits in there well - nice and snug. Easy enough to draw, but enough grip to not have to worry about it falling out.
I did notice that the front of my slide scrapes the kydex a hair when I holster it (I could see some very small shavings on the front of the slide) - so we'll see if that causes an issue down the road. Worth the 90 or so bucks I'd say. http://www.caryandbindhu.com/picture...-25-19_454.jpg |

As requested.
Shirt tucked in. This is how I usually carry with something over the outside. (Sweatshirt, jacket, etc) http://www.caryandbindhu.com/pictures/shirt_under.jpg And shirt over for when it's hot in the summertime. http://www.caryandbindhu.com/pictures/shirt_over.jpg It doesn't really start to print until I lean over pretty far. At that point the butt of the gun starts to stick out raising my shirt. |
Thank you sir! I'm looking for an appendix carry rig which the minotaur can do. It is a tuckable rig isn't it? I won't necessarily tuck but, I want the option according to where I may be.

*gasp* You mean you can actually teach a child how to use a firearm responsibly? Say it aint so. Would like to do a 3 gun componce in my life.
Lucid came out with the new HD7 Gen 3. Never knew. I enjoy my gen2 on my MP15 w/ 3x magnifier. Ive had better luck zereoing this over my sparc. May have to get their 2x-5x magnifier. I LOVE variable power over fixed. http://mylucidgear.com/reddotsights.php |

I'm betting it would just bunch up and look odd. Quote:

That's the reason for the low mounting points. It's so you can tuck it. You wouldn't want to tuck a tight shirt in but, one that tucks and ovelaps should be fine. I'm torn between those and the Theis rigs.

WOW! Give him a few years and he'll be the next Bob Munden (R.I.P.)

Sounded like he was hitting the targets too, not just popping off shells.

We've got some little kids in our club that are wicked fast. It's humbling getting beaten by them.
|
The child's advantage is they don't know they can't do it and aren't limited by such preconceived notions.

Got my weaver scope and sadlak mounted on the M1A. Had a local long range shooter/gunsmith help me zero it out. Windage needed no adjustment and elevation was a few clicks off, he was really impressed with the M1A.
Wish I would of got a shot of the guns he was setting up for his other customers. Some serious money in those, they were all long long range hunting rifles. Also picked up 2k of SK 22LR. Can't wait to get back to the range. |

I actually saw a few for sale in Georgia a few weeks ago. They had two loaded and one socom. Was tempted to buy one and resell. They were close to MSRP, I think the loaded was 1650.
I also came across a M&P 15-22 last night I was very very tempted to buy at Wally world. Regretting not buying that one. A buddy picked up the only 10/22 they had there though. |
Trade ya even for my 15/22 :rockwoot:

I have the archangel stock on mine, it's really toyish plastic feeling, but it's decent. Better than the pink stock it started as... That pic I posted earlier is actually mine in pink and black. LOL |

This is the stock that I like. I think that it's the same company that did the stocks used in the original Schwartzenboober "Total Recall", on Marlin Camp Carbines. |
What's the stock rules up there? No pistol grip I am assuming?

Yey good price, bought 500 rounds even though I am pretty stocked on 308 couldn't pass up 65 cents a round and I got a buddy that will buy some too
|
Cool. Have you bought from them before? If you haven't, you need to go back into your account and upload ID verifying birth date.

Yeah, privi is really good stuff.
I almost wish I had a SR25 now with .308 available at that price...(I didn't buy any. Don't have anything that shoots .308 FMJ.) |
I like sons of guns bullpup stock for the 10/22.
|
I hadn't seen that one before. Kind of a IW look alike.

Impugning someone because they don't believe in gun ownership is wrong. They are free to make that choice, but thats not what the subject at hand is about. Impugning someone because they don't believe in gun ownership, but want, demand, and vote for people that would disarm others via the force of government because they don't want them to be armed as well is the subject at hand.
