Yeah work stuff. It will be cool to finally see the facility.

That's cool that you're getting that work trip... just unfortunate that the wedding is fucking with our track day plans

Yeah yeah, i always get that one confused, I always think theres an "m" and theres not...*sigh*

So heres a technical question for you guys...

Should I go see wheeler and get my bike tuned and suspension when I get there Wednesday? Or wait? I need to get it done and I have been holding out since what he does for $100 will cost me about $400 down here...

pickle.of.doom 05-29-2008 01:42 PM

By tuned, you mean just the suspension or do you mean getting the bike Dyno tuned?

I can't remember if Wheeler has a dyno or not, but if you mean dyno tuning you would probably want that done closer to home, the different air pressure, altitude, conditions and temp at Wheelers is going to be different than in FL.

Do it wednesday, I don't want to be waiting around wheelers for you this time. I am with PoD, dyno tuning here may not give you the best results at home.

PoD, he has a dyno.

Yeah he's got a dyno, and I may have him run it for me, but primarily I want him to take a look at an issue I have been having and readjust the suspension. I was thrilled with what he did last year and since this year I am running considerably lighter, I want to see what else he can do. Methinks the issue is just the butterfly valve in the exhaust per some convos with buddies, but Wheeler mentioned he can hook it up and do some other stuff for me.

I dont care to see what she dynoes at, its bone stock, I just want to get the small issues resolved that he can see on the computer...and I know he can do that for a fraction of what I will pay here, plus he wont have my bike for a long period of time...

the suspension is well worthe the money

Trip 05-29-2008 01:57 PM

$25 for setup, yeah he is worth it. Plus Ken is jawesome.
