I think what Paul is pointing out is that the old white guy isn't really a "hero", but more like a habitual line-stepper who set about pushing the black guy's buttons until the fight ensued.

He's not a hero agreed, but Sir Cry a lot should have left well enough alone.

This is where being an intelligent person comes into play. There are plenty of dudes on this site that can be pretty confortable that if they need to throw down on the street they will come out on top. There is NOBODY on this site that can go into that situation certain that they aren't about to get their skull ventilated by some lunatic with a .45. That being the case, defending yourself is one thing. Thinking you are going to give an ass whooping to some idiot because he is disrespecting you or your lady verbally is VERY VERY dangerous these days.
