What's the total cost on average with the license, etc. to get a supressor? I've been thinking of getting one for my rifle. It's a .22 so the suppressor should be on the lower price end. Also, how often do you have to pay the government their blood money? Thanks!

My Thompson Machine ISIS-22 was only $275
Tax stamp was $200 So my TOTAL cost was only $475. No "License" at all. Not even sure what that's about. I did mine thru a "trust" document. Which is basically a piece of paper that has unlimited "trustee's" who all can have possession of the class III item as long as they're of legal age and aren't a criminal, which cost me nothing...dealer supplied the paperwork My next venture will be the Advanced Armament Tirant 9mm. It runs $695 (plus $200 tax stamp) |

QUOTE] Tax stamp is what I meant. I couldn't get the right words in my head! Not uncommon these days! Thanks! |
I got a Silencer Co Spectre II waiting for me, it was about $300 something + $200 tax stamp.
I did mine as an indivdual instead of trust, really wish I would of went trust. |
I did all three of my suppressor's as a individual I may at some future point move them into a trust.
Day dreaming about a centerfire pistol can next |
Do you pay the tax stamp on every can?

And unless you buy a purpose built all-in-one SBR/suppressor you get to buy (2) $200 stamps for one gun if you suppress an AR under 16" barrel length
