Thomas Haake from Meshuggah rocks. His double bass work is incredible.

A drummer who writes lyrics! He's a younger Neil Peart (one of his influences...) And the stacking cymbals is def. Portnoy move.

He's rock solid...as most metal drummers are.

Been listening to a lot of Mars Volta lately and their latest drummer Thomas Pridgen is retarded good.

I'll tell ya who's good....that fucking asshole from DMB. I hate DMB but dood can jam.

I'm with you. I can listen to DMB and appreciate their brass section, their drummer, their violin guy...but I just don't like all of it together. Never got into them.
I'm seeing the black keys on the 10th, super stoked. Drummer isn't Buddy Rich but he's tight as hell. They're from Akron Ohio too which is cool.

I wanna play my drums right now. Couple of problems with that. It's 130 am...not good. And my drums aren't here...they are 35 minutes away.

Wife is sleeping. She would not be happy about that. But fuck it...might have to jam anyway.
