He's not really getting 101mpg. Because he has larger(taller) tires his numbers are exaggerated by about 10%. Still great mileage but not as good as he is calculating.

I gotcha. My point was, why would he bother buying a different vehicle if he already has one that has as good or better gas mileage than a scooter?

That's as logical as buying a brand new motorcycle to commute on to save money on gas. :lol: It is going to take a long ass time for the money you spent on the bike to be compensated for on saved gas $$.
