I hit 160 in a stretch where I've never even reached 100 in before. Dropped my front strips down to 1/8 of an inch hard on the gas all the way.

Didn't think your bike would hit 160

Forgot you talk in that damn metric scale

It actually took me longer to get to my route on the highway than it did to come back through the backroads.

It did ignite my passion for corner carving all over again. Which is a shame since our season is drawing to a close.

Yeah. I get 2 more days here in 2 weeks. Sadly the buell is all winterized already. Luckily, the SV isn't :D

I ride as fast and loose as I feel that day BUT I do not judge my pace or corner speed by ayone I ride with, just me and the road. I leave a margin for error, Usually at my 80pct mark. I also do not race the straights. 80-85 is about tops for straights and gives the corners a nice rythm where you dont have to 10/10ths brake.

I'm slow either way *shrug*

jeeps84 09-07-2009 10:05 PM

Def depends on how many times I've driven the road.

I'll pick up the pace a bit on some of the local roads. Unknown, I dial it back.

depends on what kind of riding condition i am in, but as with most of the ppl on this board i typically am slower on unknown roads then known
