Now I know Michelle has been riding for quite a few years, is a really smart girl, and should know that she needs premium in her bike, but what if she wasn't sure? Just because you love to jump on the octane bandwagon without checking to see if someone needs it or not is just reckless.

If she did folow your advice and started running 87 octane in her 12.4:1 motor she's gonna have a lot more problems besides a little water or trash in her gas. Rebuilding motor's isn't cheap so you should reserve your infinite wisdom internetz advice for when you know you're right or maybe just for your close friends.

As it is, I'm gonna make sure my close friends don't follow stupid advice from anyone with a keyboard. Ok, :spank: I'm done, go back out and play now :D

Jesus Christ, where am I, 4Chan or a motorcycle forum?

I know what I said, you don't have to tell it back to me... and I know how long she's been riding cuz she told us. But if she doesn't know what Seafoam is then what's to say she doesn't know truth from fiction when it comes to octane?

But yes, you corrected my mistake & made your point, congratulations.... I can correct people when they make a mistake too, but I can do it w/o acting like a fuckin 12 year old tryin to impress the cute girls on the playground by stickin up for em.

My guess is MissHell probably doesn't need you to defend her. She (or you, for that matter) very easily could have came back & said "It requires premium".... shit, you're right, my mistake... end of story.

MissHell, I hope the bike is running ok. If not, and it's not water in the gas tank (drain the tank before re-filling or add a lot of drygas to help the gas absorb the water so it can burn it off) and it runs fine at speed, then take a look into the carbs, it sounds like it may be a clogged idle jet.

Like everyone in CEO's shock thread, I thought you were being a jackass to be funny so I was trying to play along. Turned out I was wrong... again.

Pete - 0
4chan spies - 2

I blame the source of my problem not on too much coffee, but lack thereof. I got my Dunkin now. Woo-sah.

The other guy linked the thread on the seafoam. Its an additive you can put in your gas tank.

Have you changed anything else on the bike recently? Anything?
