probably because HD claims the V-Rod has power and performance and sleek and svelte euro styling.

Looks ok, but I think the target markets don't intersect very much........you're talking about the 2 brands with the strongest owner loyalty

That is true. But with HD aquiring MV Agusta which I guess you could consider a Ducati competitor that maybe Ducati is going on the attack now instead of later. Or go on the attack before the HD bankroll puts MV Agusta more mainstream.

yup, way more B-king ish...

And i would much rather have a Vrod.

Earlzach 03-26-2009 10:35 PM

I would love to see some #'s on that and why they would go after the HD Vrod. Till now the Vmax was the most powerfull production bike built. If this has more power it shouldnt be compaired to already dethroned Vrod.
It should have went for the Vmax. At 197.5 HP and 120ftlb torque.

VROD for the motherfucking WIN.

I would love to see somebody do a nightrod/muscle combo. The muscle rear fender on the nightrod.

Its easy to see why they call out the Vrod. Both are long, low, fat tired non-turnable bikes that are meant for the drag strip.
