True, but these are 8-10% grades, and like i said, no center line. Very narrow. That's the part that bothered me.

I know exactly what you're talking about. When they repaved Golden Gate Canyon here, there was no centerline or edge line for about two weeks. I had no reference for picking a line around a corner. Plus I was always looking at oncoming traffic to see where they were. I rode halfway up until I turned around and went home.

And you talked about 50-foot-dropoffs before. Today I went up Mount Evans. No guardrail, no shoulder and 2,000-foot-dropoffs. Straight down.

Yeah, I these roads have NEVER had center or edge lines. and I guessed on the dropoffs. Never wanted to stop and look off the edge, all i know is I was seeing tops of trees :idk:

my M4 can shipped out today!! and I'm done with work on friday!!! which means a whole week to do nothing but play with new bike parts and ride!! SWEET.

I'll get a couple hundred miles in this weekend, then another 200 the next week, then a huge ride that weekend. I am pretty excited.
