so one of my friends just dumped a girl, they've been together for... a year? he cheated on her over the summer and then they broke up like 3 or 4 weeks ago. so whats the rules of engagement here? stay away, or all clear?

Did he dump her or did she dump him. If he dumped her, go for it. If she dumped him stay away.

Yeah. If you give it some time and aren't best friends, you should be alright. Best friends though, don't go for it.

Don't be shady. There are plenty of other ladies.

Yeah, off limits.... unless you're using the term 'friend' really loosely... Or, he gives you the green light... I've seen that happen before and it work out fine... that's rare instance. If one of my buddies asked me if I could take out an ex of mine, it'd be hard to say yes... Honestly though, depends on the ex and depends on the buddy. I will say this though, the 'hows my dick taste?' jokes would be NEVER ENDING.

he cheated on her, then he broke up with her.
yeah i think its best to stay away, dont want to be involved in the drama, and he's definitely been a friend for much longer. bros b4 hos
