Mine was a 96 and they stayed on. Could you use yours without any other lights? Mine may have had the wiring messed with.

Don't remember. I know in my Jeep now...they will stay on with just the parking lights...but not with no lights.

Mine may have been rewired because now that I think about it I think I had to have at least the side marker lights on in the eclipse but the avenger I could use just the foglights by themselves.

You're probly right...that doesn't sound like a factory deal.

a lot states have a law against running your brights with foglights... it's an OLD law... Oregon limits the amount of lights facing forward to 4 on at any one time... so if you have different bulbs for low and hi and the low's stay on... then there's your 4. many have laws against using fog lights during day time and clear weather.

your right it's a factory thing though. it's usually one of the first things people "fix" on the tacoma's.

same with jeeps, you pull a fuse, bend one prong back and replace viola you know have fogs and high and low beams all on at the same time

I didn't realize how easy it was to mod to get the fogs to stay on no matter whatthe hedlights are doing. Remove a relay, bend a prong out, attach a fuzes wire to the one bent prong and plug it into the EFI fuze spot. The K&N intake howls nicely, too. I gotta get an exhaust for it now.

I never usually mod my 4-wheeled vehicle because I spend that money on my bike, but I had to jump on all the stuff for only $200. It adds up to $500+ if I bought all of it new.

What fuse do you bend? Jeeps wants to know is it a relay instead of a fuse? I have a jeep and would love to have the fog with high beams. It's dark out here in the sticks and there's always critters in the road.

It's a relay, not a fuze. Not sure which one it is with Jeeps though.
