I'm old and beat up.

I'm happy when things go numb, less pain that way.

What if you can't ignore it? Someone mentioned wrapping and ace bandage around the throttle but I don't think that worked since hubby removed it. We are taking a long trip in a couple weeks and I know he is going to have this trouble with his hands going to sleep.

try gel inserts in your boots. Helps keep my feet from buzzing on the pegs. Gel grips also work. I try to remind my self to keep a light grip on the bars and if on the highway I often us a palm rocker to reduce hand fatigue.

Put the stock bar weights back on. Those bar end sliders increase vibration.

How much of his weight is resting on his wrists? That was my problem before I trained my body out of it. Now when I am getting tired or lazy I automatically check my forward weight and adjust it off and it helps tremendously.

My ass, just like everyone else's... the side of my hand and some of my fingers go numb sometimes. It's carpal tunnel from yearz of keyboard commando'ing.
