Its a gas grill and goes at a lower temp than most. It was like 7 degrees outside so it wouldn't have ever gotten cooked if there was no blanket. Still took about 2 hours for a thing that normally takes 45 minutes to cook in June.

I'll grill in the winter if it's not actively snowing...

As far as underarmor, I swear by it... I had to wear layers of regular clothing to shovel the other day (I had already worn the UA the day before), and between three thin shirts and my ski jacket, I was sweating inside of 10 minutes...
