Good plan, poor development. |
those Kriega bags are the shit! they're small...(they make other sizes) but shit... if you're looking to carry LUGGAGE then get fuck'n saddle bags... the point of that bag is to be water proof, easy detach, and not interfere with your ride. they make 10 and 20 liter sizes...

if you're canyon carving a backpack will let you move around more on the bike. also it will let you get down out of the wind more on long highway jaunts.

Long trips, full luggage. Sunday rides, if it wont fit in the tail or minimally in my pockets, I dont need it. I hate backpacks, they hurt my back and irritate me on longer rides. I will however strap one to my luggage and use it as a sort of back rest.

Tank bag for daily commute but saddle bags for grocery shopping & long trips...... disregard the retard kid in the pic.....he takes after his father. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o..._auslachen.gif

Not a fan of backpacks, only use it when I am going to work and have too much to carry.
Otherwise everything goes in my pockets and/or fannypack. I used to have a tankbag, I used all the time - but got rid of it, when I sold my old bike. Might be time to get another tankbag. |
