Those particular bar end mirrors are just eBay cheapies. 2 inch round suckers. They work, but took some jiffying to get tight. The inside doesn't expand quite enough to hold. So I manually manipulated the pieces then wrapped them with small strips of paper towel to hold. It works. But I'm sure I had spent a few more bucks I wouldn't have had to do all that work.

As for the old mirror holes, block off plates from ASB.

I tried the eBay cheapies. I couldn't get them to fit, then my helper broke one...

cutting stock levers are just gonna look bad, and will still feel flimsy/cheap....but if ya dont want shorter levers, i know pazzo makes stock length ones too,

Lol. I wish I could blame it on the booze. It was just somebody with little mechanical knowledge. I figured, you put the mirror on, tighten the screw and you're done. He somehow managed to break the part of the mirror that connected to the bar end. As in, he was tightening the wrong screw, and broke something he didn't even need to touch.

I also showed him how to take off his front tire. He attempted it and stripped 3 screws out of 4 on his fender. We've agreed that it's just cheaper for him to get raped by the shop money wise, than to pay to fix the damage he causes.

I have shorty pazzo levers but I am a small handed girl so they work like full levers for me!

I have been VERY VERY happy with them...
