What do the demo rides consist of? I've never done one....just a ride around the block? :lol:

I keep getting calls from the local HD dealer because I was checking out the Buells at the MC show in town. The sales guy said I can come down and demo ANY bike they have on the floor. They sound pretty desperate to make a sale. I'm going to take him up on it though one of these days, just to say I rode a Buell.

Yeah thats HD's new thing...they will let you ride ANY bike on the floor. It used to be just the demo fleet.

I did like 10 miles when I rode them a few years back.

I called and they have the model I'm interested in (the XB12scg) and the guy I spoke with said I could come anytime and ride it. Next day off I may be making a trip there, as long as it doesn't rain. :lol:

When I tried the 1125 I signed a waiver. They started it and made me wait till it hit temp. Off I went for about 40 minutes. No rules so to speak. I beat the crap out of it and was impressed. Told them as such to. And I still have a standing offer to try any of their bikes.

Buell is awesome about test rides.

If it was a Dealer Bike/Car...Id ride/Drive it hard.

If it was someone that I knew then No...Unless they told me to
