Again I am not much of a Photographer and this was taken with my tablet.
Folks who know me know that I have a thing for eastern bloc stuff. Here is one of the AMD 65's that I grabbed last month when J&G had them on Special for 399. Love it and it has moved into the role of truck gun. http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps6712c364.jpg |
This on the other hand I grabbed for completely different reason. Yes it is a 1895 Nagant, and several importers have example in nicer condition for about $100. This one however is a WWII bring back devoid of any import marks. Produced in 1940 at the Tula Arsenal and complete with an officers holster.
http://i261.photobucket.com/albums/i...psdabe25f9.jpg I am pleased with this little piece of history. |
Nice. Is that the revolver that uses cartridges that have the bullets fully set back into the brass?

Its a .30 cal round that kicks like a .22.
Id recommend buying a 1000rnd spam can. Nagant surplus ammo has been kinda low and tyese cans have just popped up out of no where. Not cheap though at $300 a can. |

Thought this was dumb the first 5 seconds but not that bad of an idea. Of course I'll just make my own than pay the price they want.
