How much faster are you on roads you know vs unknown roads?
Something I was thinking about during my ride today. How much faster are you on the roads you know versus those you don't? Do you leave yourself a large margin for error on roads you don't know and do you continue to push it?

quite a bit. though if i find a particularly nice looking stretch ill come back and hit it at a few more tenths after ive checked it for cops debris cops imperfections and cops

Cold molasses on an unknown road.
Room temperature molasses on a known road. |
Most of the roads around me suck.. they desperately need to be repaved. So even on roads I'm familiar with I tend to take it easy.

I take it easy everywhere, unless I can see all the way through the corner.

I definatly go easier on unknown roads. A little faster if someone that knows the road is leading so I can watch their line etc, but still not all out.
