If you track your bike keep in mind that Engine Ice is not acceptable at all tracks.

Sounds like you got air in your system, run with the cap off and rev it up and fill as needed.

also if the temps get below freezing in your area in the winter, replace it with coolant for the winter time. Don't want a cracked block.

Engine ice is good below freezing. Can't remember how cold though. The jug I had in the garage never froze down to 0

Ran it in the 9R and it lowered temps by like 20*
But as you said check the t-stat opening temp. That will determine its help value. My 9r opened at like 160 so it lowered it from like 190* to 170* |
I ran it in my 900RR and it dropped temps about 10 degrees. Not a huge difference, but it made it run cooler sitting in stop and go traffic, which was my main goal.

Yeah plus it seems to be more resistant to raise temp above what its establishes as the new operating temp. So once stuck in traffic jam it seems to not raise as quickly either.

I have it in both the TL and CBR, and they both run a little cooler. The biggest thing I've noticed is that they take longer to get hot ie. when sitting in traffic.

I agree with the air bubble thing. Some bikes are really hard to get the air bubbles out of. My dirt bike is such a pain that it has 2 bleeder screws. On sport bikes the water pump will get a air bubble and the best way I have found to get rid of them is to squeeze the hoses rapidly with the cap off you will see and hear the bubbles come out.

Oh I forgot to add, do not use regular car antifreeze in bikes as they have silica added to help clean the car systems and it ruins bike systems. Honda even had a tech memo on it.
