probably not, most people I would say check here once they get to work, if you check before you go in, that is dedication.

I am hoping ot rack up 3k plus with the rally this year and me and my friend chris ar eplanning another 500 mile beer run soon so I at least will be competitive.

Not if ebbs is getting 1000 miles + every couple weeks!

I can compete with that with my commuting miles and a few trips thrown in ;)

Sounds good. My commuting mileage is only 3 miles, so I'm SOL on racking up miles that way! :lol: I just have to stick with whatever trips I can get in!

Last year we moved further east on LI so my commutes got longer. Plus I am working more shifts at my side job thats further from home too, so depinding on my route a trip can be 102-114 miles round trip.

I need to get the odo of the buell posted too since I will be riding that on our group rides and when we hit the twisties.

lol I won't be doing 1100 miles every couple weeks... I get about 200 miles a week in commuting... hopefully this summer will allow me to do more riding (other than back and forth to work) but I do have one more good size trip planned.

I, on the other hand, will have around 5000 by the end of this month. That's not counting the annual trip, which will rack up close to another 5000. I might be in the running this year. :D

I have a weekend planned in two weeks to ride out to Winslow, Arizona, for no other reason than "to stand on a corner in Winslow, Arizona". :D Oh, and I'm also going to do an Iron Butt out there and back. 1600 miles. 24 hours.

I have a long weekend jaunt the weekend after Arizona planned out to Arkansas for some twisties with friends. That'll add on another 1000 about.

The weekend after Arkansas, I'm heading north to Wisonsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota to polish off my goal of having ridden in all 50 states. :D That's gonna be about 2500 or so.

Then, come July, off to parts unknown still for the big trip. :D

Somewhere in there, I'm still shooting for the TWF Rally, but I have so much other stuff going, that one may get pushed back a year. I hope not.

So, the ND weekend you are looking at the 22nd? Where abouts in ND are you planning on going?

I am creeping up on 2k, rain/bad weather knocke dout a bunch of big commuting days. but I will prolly log some seriou smiles before leaving for the rally. I iwll turn 50k on the priller somewhere along the way at the rally:rockwoot:

I don't get any commuting mileage since I only live 3 miles away from work. Pointless to ride that distance. However, I get to throw some miles on for work one day a week, usually anywhere between 50 and 200, depending on where my cases are located for that week. Then I try to throw in some pleasure rides when I don't have my daughter, don't have to mow the grass, don't need to spend time with the g/f (will hopefully get her riding with me soon), etc.

I'm losing precious riding time now damnit! Stupid repairs.
Sunny days off, and can't ride.
And we have to cage it to Duluth now!

Got in another 140 miles today. Rode up to see a waterfall. Couldn't get pics of the bike in with the fall because I had to stand up on a bench just to get a good shot of the falls through all the trees.

I'm not getting this contest. I commute 50 miles on weekdays and 250 on the weekends year round..put prolly 200k miles in the last 5 years AND prolly the only one that commutes at 90mph while the flow is going 50.

Did over 1k on my bike between yesterday and today. Just under 800 yesterday and 200 today. Possibly contemplating an iron butt for the trip home

:lol: yeah, I don't get very many miles in. I live 3 miles away from work, so commuting on the bike doesn't do jack for me. Also, I have to take my daughter to daycare 2 or 3 days everyweek and can't ride her on the bike, which means no riding to work that day.

After the rally, I'm sitting at 3434 miles. I have a LONG way to go if I even want to think about being competitive in this contest.

I passed 2k on the ER-6N. I know; big accomplishment.

Well the 1700 miles I did for the rally trip sure helped to have a decent year but it won't help me win this... that I know.

well... My GPS tracked 4350 miles... for my trip...

my Speedo gave up so I got credit for... about 3500 or so.

so I'm at 5192 officially.... 6092is unofficially...

guess my cable must have broken on the way to trips... just didn't notice it till on the way to copperhead.

Sheesh, I've been slacking!! I just turned 5k miles on the bike today. It's been a slow couple months since getting back from the rally. I definitely need to ride more!

Man I realy fell behind this year. between my inspection issues and the opressive heat I havent ridden much the last 2 months but am back out as of this weekend so I hope to make up some miles and at least have a respectable showing by the end of the contest.

I'm sitting on 9,590 miles right now.

I still have a few long weekend trips planned over the next month and a half. I'm not done yet!

I'm going to try my damndest for a podium finish, as I highly doubt I can get in the miles to pass you, let alone pass G-rex

I am hoping to make it back on the podium (I think I was second last year) been racking up some commuting miles and am hoping for a few 3-500 mile day trips and some long weekend trips as well for a shot.

Good point, my mileage is a bit higher.

ER is 31 miles one way
bronx jobsite is 43 miles one way
westchester jobsite is 51-57 miles depending on my route

So you can see the commuting miles add up fast, plus I want to limit the miles on my car for now so it lives a little longer and I can clear some personal and financial stuff before realy needing a new one ;)

ehh 16 days... 2k/16= 125 a day... not bad... I put on at least 50 commuting (sometimes take the long way home)

got one more trip coming up... should be enough to put me at least in top 5. don't think I'll beat Jared, Grex or Tommy... but who knows.

At least you got almost 4 on the buell, I was just over 1k miles when the regulator shit the bed :( I wouldnt use it to commute too much though since I have to ride through some dirty/dusty/rocky ares getting on and off hte jobsites.

I think its safer in the ghetto in the ER, its not a big 4 jappanese bike so they dont know what do do with it, but it is clean nad shiny and that attracts attention.

I didn't enter into this one, so no worries from me, hahaha.

I forget, when did it start anyways? I've logged 16k since April 5th tho, but I thought it started after that sometime

Damn, I may have a difficult time making top 3, with as much commuting as you guys do on the bikes. But I'm not giving up! :lol:
