And I had to piss really bad, so I did it at the Hardee's in Tellico Plains. But yeah, comin' down 68, the front would be like slip-grab-slip-grab. O well, that will be fixed soon. Who do you have mount your tires? |

The mojo blocks ftw also I posted the mod for the bar back in the day. I used duct tape on the removal end with shampoo bottle plastic under it and a piece of shampoo bottle plastic zip tied to the mount side works great! Zero scratches and zero cost.
Oh and use the 20% coupon in SR to get the balancer for about $30. |
im sold on the PP, thats the tire of choice for me
|
I'll post a pic of my tire when I get home
|
I have the 2CT's on the 6r they did great during the rally...they get super sticky and the turn in is great...I think there a great tire

Fine on a track, a bit touchy on a 300 mile tour. Thinking I'm going Road 2's next. After getting home and checking the odometer, I find that I really only have 3K on them, and 2K MAX left. With living in ND and the commuting I do, I need a bit more life out of a tire. |

Are yall talking about the Pilot Power 2CT or the Pilot Pure 2CT??? I have the Pure on the front and im getting ready to buy the rear in the next week. But that front tire was sticky as shit. I would stick my finger on the tire and it felt like there was Gum stuck to it after a lap through blood mountain friday. Its got some crazy sticky on the outsides of that tire. I could feel that thing hugging the road like crazy. I highly recommend the Pilot Pure 2CT's
This is the Pilot Pure on the top and the Pilot Power on the bottom You have to look at the Percentages to really see the difference. Also the tread on the Pure is 5% less than the Power giving you more open spaces and less tread giving a better grip in the turns. http://www.superbiketoystore.com/ema...pure-tires.jpg http://www.southbayriders.com/forums...2&d=1207089851 But if you want something thats really almost race ready but still road legal you need some Pilot One's Only down fall is if your a distance rider of highway rider they wont last long. They are single compound. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...wer_one400.jpg |
Full Throttle...is the Pilot Pure 2ct the same profile as the Pilot Power 2ct? Looks like it, but can't really tell. Michelin took a step backwards IMO on the Power One...Granted it is stickier than before and suppose to last longer, but the tire is not as triangular as the Power Race. Now instead of turning in sharp, they ride like BT003s with a higher price tag.
