Thanks Vortex!
Not sure how many of you guys heard about www.sponsorhouse.com before, but it works. It's like a Myspace, but for people who want sponsorships. You can create an account, search for certain sponsors registered on the site and apply for a sponsor. So I submitted one to www.vortexracing.com and they picked my ass up. Looks like I'll be getting rearsets sooner than I thought!

:lala:  jk I;m just jealous.
|
Doesn't hurt to try. They might not doit without sending them photos though. It's like an application deal and they ask you stuff like why you would be a good representative and whatnot. I told them I don't race now but plan to next season and I have mid-pack times.
|
So do they give product to you for free or at a reduced price?

what if you bolted a plate to the back of it? or the front, whever theres space.
or even better-dont drop it. i like that idea best |

You are hopefully going to be using loctite all over them anyway. Vortex parts come apart easily. Kyle has lost several bolts and I have had bolts untighten that were loc-tited down and torqued. Just cheap material is all it is... |

I didn't loctite the two bolts that hold the rearset into the frame of the bike though... it's not spec'd in the service manual to do so. |
I love sponsorhouse now. $1 for new vortex rearsets.
