i just don't understand...

why do female riders feel the need to strap baby dolls or fuzzy stuffed animals to the passenger seat of their bike?! i notice this is a regular occurence with the lady cruiser riders. it's like the female equivalent to the guys' helmet mohawk. what are we, 12 years old?!

:wtfru:

marko138 07-20-2008 04:36 PM

Insanely gay.

the chi 07-20-2008 04:37 PM

yup, i'm with marko on this one too...that is truly queer...

Mr Lefty 07-20-2008 04:41 PM

ehh... it's people being diffrent... while I don't agree with the helmhawk... it does get attention... and that's always a good thing when riding in traffic.

oh... and Dave had a pic up of his stuffed monkey hang'n from his bike... talk about queer...

itgirl 07-20-2008 04:57 PM

i think marko should bolt a novelty nutsack onto his buell, like the ones you always see hanging from the hitch of redneck pickup trucks.

i thought you were giving up on it after last year? i'd love to go on a saturday sometime, but with work it just makes it too much of a time crunch for me.

marko138 07-20-2008 07:56 PM

Yeah it sucks more every year....but I just keep going. I go more for the ride there than anything else. I've taken off work this year and last to go. After show party at my house on Saturday....if you're in town.

Yea really! I mean how dare they do something that puts a smile on their faces at the expense of your sensibilities! They should be drawn and quartered! I declare that NOTHING be allowed on bikes that isn't functional. Why just the other day I saw some bastard with a Chewbacca doll strapped to his bike, what a fag!!!

Great pic from Gladiator! Of course I'm just kidding about Chewy. If you saw my car pics then you know I have a TIGGER on my dash. It was given to me by my Fiance' before she died almost 12 years ago and I've had it on every car since. Fuck anyone who doesn't like it...

i have a lil buddha figure that pc gave me that was in my jeep until the day i got rid of it, now he is going on the bike, he is a lil guy and noone will prolly notice him, but eh, its a funny thing what we put alot of sentimental value in usually costs the least

def, my monkey was free actually. we were getting ready for a patrol and i saw him chilling in a box of stuffed toys that were gonna be handed out to local kids as part of the hearts and minds nonsense and i was like "look at this baller ass monkey! fuck those kids he's coming with ME"

if anyone thinks im an asshole right now you gotta understand that those kids are the scum of the earth. seriously, lying theiving little monsters. cant stand em! wish i had a wiffle bat!

Smittie61984 07-20-2008 11:52 PM

I went out with this girl. Well I did it like this, I did it like that, I did it with the wiffle ball bat.

Attention grabbing, just like finding a way to strap your 6lb dog to your tank?

not my tank, my person. Sue me if I wanna take my baby everywhere...as much as she loves hanging out the window of the car, I think she'd love the bike, as long as she doesnt get too much wind...one day, i'll get it...

Country Boy 22 07-21-2008 12:51 AM

I don't doubt you will....i always thought you were talking about your tank...that's why i give you those weird looks when you talk about it. You planning on putting her on your back or front?

your dog's small enough... do like Tigger did...

I wouldn't want my dog strapped down... if he wanted to ride... he'll stay on... or he'll jump off... hopefully before I leave the driveway

Country Boy 22 07-21-2008 01:01 AM

we can only hope the dogs smart enought to jump off before you leave...or at least wait til you stop

dReWpY 07-21-2008 01:03 AM

u need to see this dog a guy on the r1 board has, sits on the tank even through the dragon

most dogs are... my old dog would ride around on the "hood" of the riding lawn mower when I mowed the lawn... and only get down when I stopped.

same with the back of my truck... he'd only get out if I was stopped...

Country Boy 22 07-21-2008 01:08 AM

i must have really retarded dogs, mine would jump out of a moving truck. not to mention, the mower thing, my dogs don't even like being around a vaccum let alone anything louder.

I've seen rae's dog want to jump out of the window

the chi 07-21-2008 01:10 AM

nah drewpy, think MUCH tinier...like me compared to Ebbs!

I was thinking a baby harness or something...she doesnt weigh much or move around...and she loves sittin on the bike. When I am working on it, she insists she be right there, either on my lap or laying on the seat and tank!

Country Boy 22 07-21-2008 01:13 AM

she has been known to lay on your track plastics too!

bad crop job, but you get the idea

the chi 07-21-2008 01:22 AM

she's too much like me (mommy), her clumsiness would be her downfall...id shift, she'd see something shiny, and BAM, fall right off the bike...

Mr Lefty 07-21-2008 01:24 AM

now that I think about it... my dog will jump off the lawn mower or my truck if he sees a squirl... or some other "intresting" animal... not for cats or other dogs though...

dReWpY 07-21-2008 01:25 AM

why am i not surprised by any of this

Smittie61984 07-21-2008 06:23 AM

I'd let my dog ride but he'd probably just think my bike is a slow POS. I'd be doing 160mph and he'd be looking at me thinking "Is that all this thing has. Get a busa bitch"

Amber Lamps 07-21-2008 06:30 AM

This is weird...anyway,if you go to Pet Smart I believe you'll find a motorcycle specific pet carrier. I also believe they are available thru Parts Unlimited or Tucker Rocky. Otherwise,a modified tank bag with a harness should be fine for your little dog.

Phenix_Rider 07-21-2008 11:18 AM

WTF?? :panic:

You going to get the dog a set of leathers and a helmet?

the chi 07-21-2008 11:25 AM

actually that would be rather adorable...

shes def getting a set of doggles tho...wonder if I can fab the rest...hmmmm....

Just moved to Upper Nazareth from NJ a few months ago.
I love the roads out here although, I am not able to get on two wheels this season due to my last accident. :tt: (Have in the past)
I should be good to go by next season though.
