Correction: Man's gloves and 5 inch heels, on a 5-foot-nothing girl.

Ok, it's going to be a long morning too.

If your boss if even half-way cool, and you show up five hours late, with this pic as your only excuse...

You should get the rest of the day off.

I think we can all agree on that.

Papa_Complex 01-10-2012 07:44 AM

Rahul, the owner of Dua Motorsports, has a whole stable of them. I have no idea how he manages to keep this going, since he just got married. I guess he's just pimp, with a capital "P."

Papa_Complex 01-18-2012 12:40 PM

Come on people! Let's see some competition here!!

OneSickPsycho 01-20-2012 03:25 PM

On another forum, they force everyone who comes onto the site to vote on the POTM before searching and whatnot... I think that's a good idea, we should do it.

Gas Man 01-20-2012 06:21 PM

That would be cool. Don't know what Trip could come up with.

Nikon D40 Used 5 different raw images with different exposures then used photomatrix to combine em.

I took this pic at the border entrance to Chile from Argentina. This was a group of Italians who had ferried their bikes from Italy and were in the process of riding from Buenos Aires to Tierra del Fuego, they said it was a three week ride. None of them had Ducatis.

Sorry about the large size but Flickr strips the EXIF data from all but original sized photos, this picture is geotagged so if you have an EXIF extension on your browser (I use EXIF Viewer) you can see a map of where the photo was taken. If the size is a problem Ill upload a smaller version.

EDIT: Posted a smaller one.

Great picture... I'm curious, why would they need to have a Ducati on an Adventure ride?

Because it's not an adventure without at least one inexplicable electrical failure.

There isn't any way in hell I would lift my bike with those tiny straps.

That's how I lift mine up. I have a couple hooks in the ceiling of my garage and use those straps to lift it off the ground for maintenance. Granted, I don't lift it more than a few inches off the ground, but I use those straps to do the job.

True, no way a 1/2" strap is rated for over a ton!

Thats pretty much my thought, especially since there were 4 of them!

I was more worried about the hooks bending than the straps

Gas Man 01-30-2012 10:31 PM

I didn't know there was 4 of them.

Still not sure I'd do it on my bike... but I bet that KLR weights about half of my Ultra.

400 lbs dry, I'm not sure I would do that on your bike either. if I wreck mine, I can buy a 100% complete parts bike for under $500 that runs shittily and replace anything I need to in just a few hours, I'm not sure that I can say that about your bike.
