Yeah, meant to say the shoulder of the fast lane, which is a horrible place to stop. Unless the vehicle is broken down, nobody should be stopping on the shoulder of highway. Find an exit and pull off if you want to chat about the idiot that almost hit you. Stopping in a place where more idiots can hit you isn't exactly the brightest move.

How does one lose control of a car going in a straight line at highway speeds?

That was a tidy bit of driving.....if you were an epiliptic seizing up at that moment.

It looked like the driver thought they were going to hit one of the bikers and swerved to avoid, or maybe nodded off a sec. The first scenario may seem unlikely, but if they're inattentive I can see them jumping the gun. Either way, a holy fucking shit moment for sure.
