ok, so it looks like the rider is alright, now for the important question. IS THE BIKE ALRIGHT?

ceo012384 11-05-2008 04:47 PM

The point of the thread/picture was that the gauge cluster is in the middle of the air and the tachometer is showing 10kRPM...

the chi 11-05-2008 04:58 PM

I got it, it had me rolling...where exactly is it at tho where there is so much green?

t-homo 11-05-2008 08:13 PM

Lolz. You are an asshat.

DLIT 11-05-2008 08:27 PM

Ha! His tach was like: "Fuck this, I'm out!"

thinkin old pic. or in the south. you should still be surrounded by green.
Hell, we're still green under all the water and leaves!

Quick281 11-05-2008 09:42 PM

Awesome picture.

dReWpY 11-05-2008 10:05 PM

is it me or does it look like a old sschool cell phone in the air

NONE_too_SOFT 11-05-2008 10:34 PM

I'm not even sure it works when its that far away from the bike... does it have a wireless signal?

on a side note great advertisement for bridgestone...

"theres a reason moto GP stopped using Michelin tires..."

jeeps84 11-06-2008 12:18 AM

Throttle might have gotten pinned as bar hit ground.

That's one hell of a shot. Any idea what track it came from? I can pull some information from the shot (like it was taken on 2008:05:18), but the photographer didn't embed any info other than the basic that the camera records.

And if I was to guess, I'd say that the "cell phone" is the left side peg hanger.

p00kienrayray 11-14-2008 01:19 PM

the photographer was like, "fuck the bike or the rider, i'm gonna grab a shot of the tach!"

Trip 11-14-2008 01:33 PM

rider has the bigfoot pose going for him

ceo012384 11-15-2008 09:34 PM

I believe the photo was taken at Grattan

Quick281 11-23-2008 09:10 PM

Yeah Sig, that tach was definitely running for its life.

Nice pics and glad to see that you're ok.

Sig 11-23-2008 09:38 PM

Amazingly i patched the bike back together with a fiberglass kit and some duct tape..........replaced a clip on and raced the next day. :rockout:

Only injury was a ruptured bursa in my elbow. :dthumb:

Particle Man 11-23-2008 09:44 PM

didn't know tachs came with an ejector seat

ceo012384 11-23-2008 11:14 PM

Well I have a spare subframe and a spare gas tank, so that looks like about a 20 minute fix in the pit garages :D

Ouch.

You've gotta crash that bike pretty hard to bend those forks.

pickle.of.doom 11-24-2008 07:07 PM

Hmm not sure if its there... I cant picture any big grassy hills like that at grattan... but I don't pay attention to the scenery too much either. If I could see the pavement I could tell you for sure.
