What brand(s) do you own?
We all have opinions about what the best brands/models are, but what do you actually RIDE?
06 Kawasaki Z750s.....for now.
07 GSXR 750 - ride
06 ZX10-R - For sale |
I guess it is Kawi's for the win so far.
Suzuki for now. New bike should hopefully becoming sometime this season.
honda by default, would prefer kawi

How about a 3 bike swap, Marko get the RC, Drewpy gets the Z and I get Marko's..... um never mind.

i might change my mind when i get the mods done this year thati have planned

raw torque is great, but HP is lacking compared to the other liters, for the gas milage i get it should be alot more peppy, the stock rc is very bogged down by emissions and epa placed valves and soft rev limiters, just cant get good performance, so you must do a bunch of free mods just to get what shoulda been stock performance and ridability in the first place
and its very heavy and no, i am no where near the bikes potential, its all just arm chair racing  one thing ill never get tired of is that v twin sound |
Quote:
Interesting. I've never rode one....I've rode a TLR...and they are pretty damn heavy too. |
one thing i will say, its build like a rock, honda reliability, im hoping for +100k miles
edit: i hate you trip.... one hundred thousand plus miles |

Triumph FTW!!
once you get past the gas milage, its a fucking great ride, more then 99% of the riders can handle, fun factor is a 10, i have always had a thing for fpx's 10, prolly one of the only bikes i would consider trading it in for
I've always loved the RC-51. It's an awseome sounding bike. I almost came close to buying one instead of my R1. I've heard of people getting 50,000 miles or more easily on the RC. It's supposed to be a very reliable bike.
i need that with 12-20k miles a year that i put on it
Drewps...what kind of HP does the RC put down and what about torque?
124ish hp with slipon but like ~70 fp torque
Quote:
Maybe the RC isn't on my list anymore. I saw a dyno sheet for a Buell 1125R....141hp and 80 ft lbs of torque. Thats what the fuck I'm talking about. |
it is an 8 year old platform, baddass as it was, its could use an update (yes i know they stopped making them, but who wouldnt want to see a rc61!)

Speaking of V4's....anyone seen the new V4 Aprilia? |

I wish I could vote in this poll...
Buell Blast for now. Hoping to upgrade to a late 90s early 2000s 600 or 750 this spring though.
Yamaha...only because it is what I found when I was looking. No brand loyalty...yet anyway.
Cannot vote though...:idk: |

I voted Kawasaki and Buell... I ride a Buell... and rode a Kawi... I guess I rode a couple Hondas and a Yamaha when I was a kid, but that was so long ago... I am not particularly brand loyal.
Suzuki Katana for now, but buying a Busa this year

I have 2 Hondas
First Ducati on the board... :rockwoot:
So far it's looking like the Kawi's are the "me too" bike of TWFix. :idk:
So....where to start...sooooo many bikes, so little space..................
Should I mark "Other" or just check all of 'em...............
