Was to my buddy's garage to store her for the winter. It was a respectable season..

How many did you manage?

Sixxxxer 11-29-2008 03:23 PM

I dont have a picture but I bought her Brand new on July 30th...and Tucked her away with 4,000 On the clock 2 weeks ago.

Carolina 11-29-2008 03:26 PM

that's about what I had when I totaled her but from the last time we did that there are some big numbers out there. I bet it sucks to tuck her away.

Mr Lefty 11-29-2008 08:00 PM

4000... from Aug 27th to Sept 17th. :idk:

marko138 11-30-2008 11:06 AM

1600 miles. Pitiful, I know. Spare me your shitty comments.

azoomm 11-30-2008 12:10 PM

Wow.

I just thought about the year.

Just over 100 miles on the street for this past year. Maybe. I think that number might even be inflated.

The street's just too damn dangerous - stooopid cagers freak me out.

OneSickPsycho 11-30-2008 09:12 PM

Last year was much better for me... Put on somewhere in the vicinity of 9k... This year... so far... Only about 6k...

Not as many as I would have liked. Next year will be different.

Werd.

Green bike was so temperamental, she was down more than she was up from April - August.

Didn't ride at all from August till I bought the new bike... now I've had the new bike for three weeks, and I've already gotten more than 700 miles on her (and that's with it being cold and rainy much of the time here lately).

Sixxxxer 12-02-2008 08:41 AM

I'll clear 15,000 Next year...watch.

Smittie61984 12-02-2008 08:02 PM

Roughy 12,000 this year so far. But I'm still riding. Rode to work today and it was 26degrees and windy!!! I'll probably squeeze in 13k before January.

I feel your pain, I only had 1800 or 1900. Didnt go on many long rides, just a bunch of commuting and short rides.

merle 12-02-2008 09:15 PM

The beauty of living in a warm climate... I'm getting back on my SV in a couple of weeks. :rockwoot: I couldn't exactly ride when I was pregnant and now that the little one is here, I'm itching to get back in the saddle. We took my bike down to a buddy last weekend for new fluids, filter, chain, etc. I don't care what the temp is when it's ready... I'm riding it home! :D

Thats exactly what I did. I rode almost every day...but work is only 8 miles round trip. Just didn't have time for many good runs. I made a few...went down to Maryland to ride with OTB and his crew and got out on my own a couple times. But not much...no track this year either.

Sixxxxer 12-03-2008 12:26 PM

Marko you should make it out for our MD Run Next year...Early May IIRC

Archren 12-03-2008 12:29 PM

Rode to work today.. it was a balmy 62 degrees, and is forcasted to get up to 80 today. Of course, it's going to be miserably cold the rest of the week, so I had to get some riding in while I could.

Sixxxxer 12-03-2008 12:32 PM

It's 40 Right now...With a High of 45 Expected.

Bastards

I did my two years in a cold climate (Germany). I live in Texas for a reason. :nee:

Sixxxxer 12-03-2008 12:37 PM

Its really not that bad actually...While I'd much prefer a Year round riding season I do happen to like the seasons...Winter should just be a month long not 3 to 4
Lol

Where do you guys ride...and what kind of riding?

Lucky3623 12-03-2008 02:23 PM

Put on about 4k this year... but the everyday commute got much shorter this year... only 10 minutes... not an hour and a half...

Racerboy 12-03-2008 02:25 PM

The season comes to an end? Not here, luckily!!

AquaPython 12-03-2008 02:33 PM
