Possible R8...
|
looks like a gixxer...
|
looks like italian influence in a few spots
|
I'm doubting it.
|
is this another one of those motorcycle.com pooperchops? 'cause if it came from them id give it about as much chance as a bmw s675rr

The new Ducs look Japanese, the Jap bikes might as well look Italian. |
I like it. Very mean looking.
|
That's a bad PS. The seat looks all fucked up. If Yamaha does come out with an R8, I don't care what it looks like, I'll be the first motherfucker in line to get one.
|
I'd buy one if it was real.
|
Yea, i was about to say that there are bits and pieces from a couple bikes.... most notibly the R6....
|
Sweet ! Where do I sign ? http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n.../larger003.gif
|
wont happen... everyone got out of the middle weights except suzuki and they're recalling them all.. lol
Would be nice.. but i'm not holdng my breath... just like a couple years back when it was rumored that kawi was gonna do a zx8R... |

I like it....enough to move from a Zuki
|
Yeah I'm sure with all vehicle sales in the shitter yamaha is going to come out with something to compete in a niche market segment...
and the photochop job is shitty, too. I'll believe it when I see it. |
you know how i know its fake, pirelli tires on a factory yamaha... not likey
|
I dig the shit outta that, but I really doubt anything like it would ever see the light of day.
Of course, if they built it and it didn't have a typical Yamaha top-heavy powerband, I'd probably buy one. |
BAD Shoopin Thar...
1. As stated earlier..the seat is all fucked up 2.The light lines on the front dont match the tank (Head light as "pushed") 3.Look at the pain lines on the side cover, see the....Blops where its not straight? 4.The Paint, Sorry Someone used a "push" brush, and forgot to mix the colors to make it look real, Thats why some parts look like a Drawing and some parts are real. |
Quote:
Um...everyone it's a concept drawing. No one claimed it was on the show room floor or anything yeesh!!! |
You guys have a lot better eye for photochop than I do.
Assuming you are correct about it being a fabrication, it certainly looks 10000x better than anything I could do. :idk: |
Looks good.
Are those the super uber cool brembo brake caliper covers? |
Quote:
Nope....they are the MEGA super uber cool Brembo brake covers, get it right! |
Bring it on yammy.
I got a little surprise for ya. http://www.vfrdiscussion.com/forum/u...463_254701.jpg |

A supercharged V4/V5?:idk:
|
Yup tigger. Young guy (close to my age I believe) built the whole thing. The final product is a little different than the prototype he had on the forum.
Kit and dyno http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDCgwyY4yOY Test run. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQslE...eature=related |
You know, I was thinking "Big deal, 159 hp..." but then I remembered that this is a sub 100 hp bike stock! WOW!

so lemme get this straight:
R6 = 600cc R1 = 1,000cc ... wtf is an R8 then? If there's anything coming out, I doubt they'd call it an R8 if they want to keep things traditional... |
Quote:
Um... an R7 was the 750cc bike... If they ever come out with a 'Busa style bike, it'll be the R12/13/14/15 or whatever guaranteed! |

Man my boyfriend has been drooling over one of them as soon as he hear it existed. He is a HUGE 5th gen. VFR fan and would love to SC his. How much is the system going for? I probably shouldn't ask that.....:panic: |
That VFR Is Regoddamndiculous...But I like it!!!
|
Around $5k Hokie. You wanna get me a kit too?
|
I wouldn't even call it a prototype picture, if you look real close at the rear wheel you'll notice that the spokes curl toward the other side of the bike just like bikes with single sided swingarms and this R8 has a standard style swingarm.
Kardesign does a lot of sketches and such. http://www.kardesign.co.uk/Motorcycle%20visuals.html |
