I bought a new Softail Crossbones last year, after 6 years on an rc51 and cbr1000rr. I am definately not sorry. That street glide is sexxxxxxxxxxxxxxy.

No CD although it has a place for an MP3 player. I made them give me a helmet because of the spoke wheels. I HATE to clean.

Just checked the manual and you are correct. I didn't know I had one. I've only put 120 miles on it so far.

Nightrods are UBER SWEET. But if you are use to a cruiser you won't like it. Its a mid way point from a sportbike to cruiser... very forward feel but with your feet in front on the forward controls. That would be the hardest part for a sportbike rider to get use to. I know it was for me on the chop

and you have unwittingly uncovered one of the main reasons why I chose to buy an SV :)

I demo'd one last time I was at the dealer. Really killer machine. Had about 10 miles on the clock when we left the parking lot. I'd buy one for sure.

The new vettes are badass. Buddy of mine got to ride in that 2009 ZR1 vette. Said it about made him cry it was so fast.

Looks good, performs good, the seat... not so much...

I'll never get one. It's so heavy I doubt I could get it off it's stand. It's a sexy beast (for a cruiser) though! :)

Though it's likely I'd never get one myself because I'm going to ride this F3 of mine until it absolutely dies on top of me not making enough to afford any kind of new bike. But I was kind of pissed that for a bit only Europe was going to get it.

For a Harley it's pretty reasonably priced....less than $12,000.

Well for me a Ninja 250 is out of my price range. I have a paid off bike and I hope it survives for 2-3 more years. Once I get through school I might get a new one. But probably a litre or hyperbike just for straight line fun.
