Who's comming? who's thinking about comming? What are your plans? When do you plan on showing up?

We've got about 2 and a half months until rally weekend. lets start getting organized.



I'm planning on making it one way or another. i've got the cash put aside in the bank, just need to figure out whom to room with, how to get there, etc.

I trailerd w/ drewpy last year, but i dont know if they're doing the same thing.

I plan on doing at least friday through monday. I want to stay at topocco again, that place was sweet. it'd be great if we could get everybody staying there. www.tapocolodge.com

We have reservations set up for us. You have to call or email Marsha and ask her to put you with the TWF Group.

I plan on being there and staying at Tapoco.

I'm definitely coming!! But I have to figure out who might be coming with me. If its just me, I will most def need a roommate, I'm all about cutting costs!

I'd actually like to get in one of the cabins, with a few other peeps. those things were ideal for just chillin after dark when we werent doing some insane night rides.

My status on this guy is pretty much the same as Indy. Gonna have to wait until it gets a little closer to determine.

Also, finding someone who'd want to drive down there with me would help.

didn't have flashlights for the rally, that was before the crackdown and when we had to get creative to ride.

As long as you get 3 or 4 bikes running you can see just fine. Remove your mirrors and run your brights. We can run 90% of our daytime speed. Just have to know the road.

yeah, but the 3-4 bikes need to be all about the same skill level or it can get ugly

:iagree: as well as if you know the road!! You locals def have the edge when it comes to being familiar with that, I will do a night run this year but theres no way in hell I'll be running anywhere close to a daytime speed!!

We did a night run last year and divided the people into two groups. Had a spirited group and a less spirited group. Everyone had a good time, some people chickened out though. :lol:

Hell fpzx10 did the night run as his first run on the dragon ever. I can't believe he came with us, I didn't find this out until after we were done.

Definitely, we need to make sure everyone understands the bridge is the finish line though. So some people can't make excuses.

Nope, that was my buddy Heath's race bike, he gave it to me after my track wreck to get my butt back out there, he was running street tires that day and his tires were safer in the rain than mine, not to mention I was missing a few pegs...:lol:

i may not have technically WON... but i still dominated down that hill. went from last to first, and had a good 2 second lead by the time we got to the bottom!

Hell ill try to make it up there. i really want to upgrade first. Ive been wanting an R6 or GSXR600 i haven't really had time to go to any dealerships to see what they will give me for my bike but i need to ASAP. 2 weeks ago there was a beautiful red 2004 R6 at southern Honda i wanted but ain't got the funds right now and haven't sold my bike yet so i couldn't get it. I really don't like debt or payments so its going to take me awhile before i get a new one. Anyways ill be there one way or another. i might have a friend that will come so im not sure about rooming yet. Who knows Upshift might finally get that bike hes been talking about and actually come.

I plan on comming in friday, but tapocco is closed untill april 12th so I dont have my reservations yet. Long story, left it on SO to do and she neglected it until right after they shut donw or w/e!

It's all very tentative as far as the planning goes (though I'm 95% sure I can go) but I think I'm going to make a big two week ordeal out of it... the gap for a bit... SC for a bit.... finish up with a trackday at Jennings in florida, then head back.

Unfortunately I don't think I'll be bringing a friend... I don't really have any who would be interested I don't think. The only reason I actually mind is that I'm going to have to do all the driving myself, and it would have been nice to split it with someone. But hey, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I may stop by Jennings on my way to Disney. I thought about attending the track day, but I don't think it would be the best idea. The entire next week I will be in Orlando for a Breaker Seminar for work at Disney World. I would have to leave right after work on friday to get to Jennings in time and then leave my bike in the back of a truck the entire week I am at Disney World. So I may just drive down saturday, catch the end of yall track day and then head down to orlando. Or I may just fly to orlando directly, who knows...

Fair enough... either way it would be cool to meet up with you down there. If you do decide to try to do the TD, I'm sure we could figure something out. Leaving it in a truck wouldn't be a huge deal. I or someone else heading north could potentially bring it back up with us though.

talked to drewpy. and considering PS is a 70% no show ( i dont know where they came up with those numbers) that leaves a lot of us w/o rooms.

My trip is going to be fucking ridiculous. In a 14 day span I'm going to be doing 3 trackdays, riding at the gap for 4 days or so, travel the entire east coast of the country, the works. I'm excited.

Yeah I have been talking to Kat about where we are going to stay. She said she will talk to you and figure it out. If the cabins have separate bedrooms it's all gravy with me.
