go pro camera help
 
i need help with a few things

1 where do i find a free editing software? doesnt need to have any bells and whistles just want to be able to cut the video down to the action

2 when i watch the footage on the tv through the camera is runs great, nice and smooth, but when i upload it onto my computer its very choppy and unwatchable what can i do to fix this?

Your media software pro ably doesnt have to correct codec to play it. Download VLC media player.

K-lite codec pack full is the best codec package I've found.

What format does go pro record in? Did you download the latest version of VLC player? It's played every type I've thrown at it.

i dont know much about all this video stuff, but the one avatard gave me is better but not 100%
