Looks like some company will be starting a motorcycle taxi service in LA and San Fran, sounds like a neat idea if it can stay in business

Lane splitting FTW

The problem with these bikes is you cannot carry any large baggage piece. To LAX, the 105 sucks in the morning and splitting is a must, but you really cannot split with that Spyder. Goldwing would be cool.

Can you say dick to butt?

when I was stationed in cali (north of sacramento 02-05) people still tried opening doors and cutting off bikes that lane split... most had no idea it was legal...

hell they even had a radio morning show tell people to open their doors and stop the "idiots" from getting by... it caused a HUGE uproar and resulted in the boycotting of the motorcycle dealerships that sponsored the station, the eventual firing of the personality, and every week for a month they read some sort of motorcycle friendly law or story..

just cause it's legal, doesn't mean I wanna do it... I mean the fact that I was right and they were wrong wouldn't keep me out of a hospital bed if things went bad
