He didn't have either feet on the throttle so it might still be on the right.

It took me a few minutes to realize what he was doing in the first place. I was watching how bad the drivers are more than anything else.

And, yes, they are that bad about staying in lanes. I saw one fellow who kept his car centered right on the dashed line, so he drove in two lanes. I'd guess he was home schooled in driving and just didn't know how to properly drive on a freeway.
