My installer has over 20 years experience, its not the install. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dont. Your the only person I've ever heard rave about them. The hair tie/rubberband trick is more effective and way less expensive.
Its useful enough to give my hand a break on long trips, just doesnt hold steady...
