This thread is sad. We used to carry like 4 conversations in here at one time. Now we rarely post in it.
Anyway, there is a local powdercoater offering free powdercoating for the inside (non friction) part of the brake rotors and on the rear sprocket (teeth being taped off obviously.) He is doing it free as a test to see if it will hold up to the heat and the vibrations. I am pretty much positive I am going to have him do mine. Its a 9 year old bike, so what can it really hurt. Its no show queen by any means. I played around in photoshop for a bit seeing what it would look like with different colors. Black was kinda boring, but still cool. Gold looked like shit against the red bike. I decided on a red that is pretty close to the color of the bike. I also got him to throw in rear sets if I'll take him riding more. (He has been powdercoating for a long time, newer rider though.)
