I would have chosen the 800 as well

(I'm talking potential carrying weight...the GS ADV can carry a lot more fuel and weight...and you'd be tempted to max that out, where on the 800, you don't have that GVWR)

Plus the 800 would be kinder to tires (assumption on my part)


But that's just my opinion as a logic-minded engineer
