Calling all SoCal friends
So I just got an email back from one of the companies I applied to, and I dont know if they are blowing smoke or not, but I am really getting amped up in my search. Honestly I really dont know much about the area. I know more about west LA than east LA though.
So, what does everybody think of Culver City or Marina del Rey? I've also been looking in WeHo a bit, and surprisingly the prices aren't that different. Any suggestions of places to look in to, or places to avoid??? Thanks!

We should all live in Maryland instead. Now there's excitement.

Anyways, don't know where you will work but if it were me I would be looking at La Canada or Woodland Hills, but depends on where the job is because traffic can get slightly heavy up there |

Parts of Culver City are rather run-down and frankly not all that charming at all. Marina Del Rey also has some run-down areas, but Playa Del Rey has some nice apartment complexes for rent. From Marina Del Rey/Playa Del Rey, you can take the backroads to all the beaches.
