Youtube Revenue Sharing Program
Got an email and looked it up but not much info. Is this shit legit? I checked my youtube account and under the video it says "Enable Revenue Sharing"
It's for these videos... 58,525 views http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M05rXE9QYq8 91,512 views http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbZh9Pm1_G4 (I know squidtastic but I'm not the one riding so I'm happy video taping people doing dumb stuff)

I looked into it some more. My guess is those two videos would be deleted since it has to go through some approval. And it says that videos that potray "dangerous and illegal acts" will be deleted and such. Which youtube is full of that but I'm guessing they get a little more strict when they are about to pay out some money.
I'll probably sign up. If I can make $10 from my idiot friends then why the fuck not. Or if they delete it then big deal. I have 2 other youtube accounts.

Seems like a backhanded way to delete some of the vids for no other reason.

It doesn't seem like they are deleting anything unless the person who posted the video wants to try and get some money. Smittie's vids are still hosted there. The problem for Youtube is once they start paying for hosting a video they take on additional liability. A hands off hosing policy doesn't create much liability at all for them. Paying for the videos on the other hand could be viewed as sanctioning, or even encouraging that activity for others.
