Default Best place to buy .22LR?

I used to be able to buy Federal bulk 550 boxes for around 15$ each at Wal-Mart, but they don't stock them anymore. Now they have some 325 boxes at about the same price. Where can I get some decent (preferably federal) .22lr at 500 for 15 or less?

Ammo is being taxed and taxed some more. I'd be surprised if you found a 500 brick for that price.

Academy has a 525 brick for $19.49 (everyday.)

On some other boards guys are saying Wal-Mart still carries it at that price, mine just doesn't have it in stock. Hoping I can find an online vendor that's close.

Walmarts around here have really cut down on the guns/ammo. That happened about 5 or more years ago. I remember when I was young they would have at least 4 turn cases full of guns. Now it maybe 3 or 4 shotguns, 2 rifles, 2 .22L's.

Guns are the devil.

I hate how walmarts website doesnt show any auto stuff or only a little gun stuff. No ammo on their website. Gonna have to go store to store.

Same here, they used to have a large case chock full. Now the case that holds it is about 3x3.

Dammit. I may just want to buy some Totino's pizza's and a .308 rifle. I don't want to make two stops for that.

Widener's lists Federal AE22 (American Eagle) for $18 per 500

Most of the stuff I buy is at $22-28/500 now.

You might try checking the ammo section on Rimfirecentral for some ideas of where to look.
Also, some people find good deals on Gunbroker.

Bot action? Lever action? The brand shouldn't make a difference.
