TSA power grab
Remember how Airport could opt out of using the TSA?

Fuck those assholes. When I worked for Security Forces I used to get farmed out for TSA security checks. My job was to try to get through security with something dangerous and illegal (simulated, of course.) Out of three attempts I was successful twice, once sneaking a simulated explosive device through and once a gun. Those pricks are worthless

They're proven to be worthless, but now they want FULL control over security.

slightly cheaper because TSA are gov employees, and contractors are not. The actual workers will see about the same pay or slightly higher pay, but there should be less bureaucrats and less red tape. thats just my opinion about using contractors vs gov employees.
I do agree that contractors are generally slightly more incompetant than their gov employee counterparts, but not by much. Thats also not saying to much since we are talking about the tsa

Until things change, this is where I'm at. Sadly, it will be at great personal sacrifice.

See for me it's not a sacrifice... F it. My mom lives in florida in the winter but I see enough of her in the summer. For all the time it takes to get a ticket, go thr, park, check bags, go thru tsa, get in arguement with tsa, wait, board, fly, wait, unboard, get bags, get rental, blah blah blah... I could just F'in drive there.
The only personal sacrifice you would make is allowing the TSA fucks to violate your 4th admendment rights to privacy IF you flew. F them! Plus anywhere I really go, I'd rather just go there on 2 wheels anyway. |

Springfield Branson is a tiny airport. Why would the TSA deny them of all people? Looks like any time I fly in the future, it will be out of KC and not STL.

Search of person and effects isn't considered "unreasonable", when the alternative might be 300 burning people falling out of the sky.
But the TSA is obviously useless.
