God some good news yesterday for someone I have been working with. A friend of mine knew someone who wanted to become a PA ( why I will never know LOL) anyway he asked if she could shadow me for a while to see what its all about and figured why not. After talking to her for a while I can see shes def motivated and wants to do this. So I wrote her a reference letter and helped her with the application and she got called for an interview for the incomming class. Shes prety excited obviously but it made my day too. Its very competitive to get in so hopefully she aces the interview and gets in.

I had a few people who helped me quite a bit when I was in her spot so I def wanted to pay it forward. We work with a lot of students but they kinda already know how to do stuff so thats a little different. So i have to let her see what it is I do, what the profession is about and teach a little medical stuff at the same time.
