Default Dear Apple

Got your notification popup to update my Win XP install of Quicktime, and stupidly, I trusted you, and hit "update".

Quicktime took the liberty of installing a desktop icon (I wanted no such thing), and then took over nearly every media file association on my computer, reversing my preferred settings.

Control panel; Add/Remove software; Remove Quicktime.

Violate my trust, and *poof" your shitty fucking software is gone.

Eat my ass, fuckers.

Only problem with VLC is that their H.264 codec sucks donkey balls... that said, it's the only media player I use simply because of it's versatility.

I must have tried at least 5 different codec packs and Windows 7 refuses to load thumbnails properly for any files that aren't AVI format. It just says "discovering items," but never does. Then it makes My Computer and Control Panel blank.. I just turned the damn thumbnails off.. so fucking annoying.

AVG snuck their Security Toolbar in under the wire, in the last update that I did. Reset my search provider to Yahoo at the same time. I specifically didn't install it when I first installed AVG because I hate toolbars. There was also no specific uninstaller for it, nor would it allow uninstallation from the Mozilla plug-ins list. Fuckers.
