car will not start..
I have an 06 Pontiac G6. It worked fine last night.
This morning, it turns over and will not start. Going to check spark, and crack a fuel line to see if I'm building pressure. Any other ideas? Something simple that is common on these turds? |

had an F150 do the same thing. Wound up being the theft prevention circuit.
Otherwise yeah fuel or spark would usually be the culprit. |

With a car that new it could be anything. Is it throwing a check engine light? If so go have it read.
Neutral safety switch perhaps? |

06? Is it not under warranty anymore? So the engine cranks, it just wont start? Has to be fuel related. I can't see something breaking this soon to cause no spark.

No fault codes. It does have a factory command start.
I was by myself, couldn't quite hear the fuel pump cycle. I'm about 1500 out of warranty... |

When I use the command start, it cranks continuously. And it has a sure start system, I turn the key slightly and its supposed to start itself.
When I turn the key now, it cranks for a second and stops unless I hold it in the start position. |

Low battery? Bad starter? The starter just went out in my Maxima and it would still crank the engine, just not fast enough to start it.

Battery is fine, the engine turns over normally. No slowing down at all.
Gonna be fucking around with this when I get home. Any ideas are appreciated, and I'm going to try all avenues. |

in the middle of the dash display should be a picture of a car w/ a padlock. Make sure that doesn't flash or stay lit.
