Default Custom license plate site?

I remember seeing a billboard that advertised for the website, but I don't recall the website.

You can create and check to see if it's already registered within the state for use. Anyone know the site?

This wasn't that "My Plates" thing from a while back, was it, with a bunch of different colors and designs available? If so, it went under.

i went to the notary and filled out the paper. then called the state to see if my choices were available before mailing the check. voila...a vanity plate was born.

Ya see the plus to having the website was that you could check before doing all the paperwork.

So much for simple things.

I think it's just like getting regular plates. You go to the DMV, fill out a form and what not.

But I never had vanity plates in TX, just in MO. In MO I just filled out a form with my choices on it, paid them, then a couple weeks later they called me and said they were there for me to pick up.
