Complaining about a soldier's funeral procession?
That's a tongue lashing...
http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/new...E?OpenDocument The sheriff was very very professional in his reply.. |

Of COURSE they would stop all over the road for a procession. They SHOULD stop to honor those passing regardless of direction passing on the roadway.
Common courtesy is gone with common sense. Booooo. Bravo to the response. I applaud it.

ETA: What are the odds that the emailer has had a yellow "support the troops" magnetic ribbon on her car in the last 10 years? I'd say pretty good. |

[QUOTE=goof2;263993]While that would be nice I doubt it happened. Anyone willing to make multiple calls then email the sheriff because they were inconvenienced by any funeral procession, much less a military funeral procession, isn't likely to have much shame. I suspect this bitch is trying to take it higher up the "food chain". I hope she gets no traction.
unfortunatly I bet you're right. She probably won't even realise what a terrible wench she was being |

She's a moron.
The bikers should have never got involved. Anyone that is not a cop that tries to pull me over will meet something not so friendly.

I don't think she is....if you read HER report, the people at the funeral procession stopped her on a lane that the procession was not even on. She didn't cut anyone off. Also, driving 20mph on a freeway without police escorts all around is not a good thing and add to the fact that they were making U-turns after the procession and almost getting themselves hit by other vehicles. Sounds like she had a formal complaint to me, esp. to the dicks that yelled at her for apparently no reason instead of calmy asking to stop I mean wtf grow up. The sheiriffs response doesn't make sense to what she even typed out. I wondering if he even read it. His whole reply was "how good he was", but her complaint had nothing to do with her "being inconvienced", but that some in the procession were causing danger on the road.
