Default brake lines

I am going to be swapping out some brake lines to SS lines. Galfer or Spiegler?

I was thinking of going a little squidish and getting red ones to add a little life to the all black and silver scheme.

I put Russell SS brake lines on my GS back in 1982. Back then I switched to silicone fluid, DOT 5, which was the best available. The lines still work great, and I've changed the fluid occasionally. Still use silicone and now it's purple-colored.

My buddy has Spiegler lines. They are fine. Front and back shouldn't take more than a couple hours.

What do you think of Kevlar brake lines? Should I upgrade to stainless steel at some point?

They expand a little more than SS...although at street speeds you'll never notice the difference.
