Skiing and riding...Similar?

Anybody watching the Olympics notice the similarity between leaning on skis and leaning on a motorcycle? I was watching the downhill and saw a skier leaning way into a gate. She held her poles almost like they were a handlebar. Looked just like how a rider looks, leaning way into a curve.

Interesting... I can see the correlation... how the body responds to the forces wanting to put it out of the turn... Never really thought of it before.

I would argue that the similarities of how the geometry, physics, and all go together are similar... Legs on a skier are not attune to legs on a motorcyclist, but they would be similar to the suspension...

Try going out and racing 4 or 5 races on a Sunday and I guarantee you that you'll realize just how much stress your legs and core can experience on a bike.

The basic physics and physicality of the two is very similar.

Oh ya? How much do you ski? While I snowboard mostly, I have ski'd. I also rode street and dirt and snowbiling of all different kinds. None of them are as hard as a day of RECREATION on the hill on the body, let alone fucking racing on planks.

Back country skiiers are fucking intense too.

On top of that, i'd rather lowside a bike on most tracks, than wreck on ski's. Even snowboarders have it easy compared to them.

So, you are wrong. Believe it. No amount of senseless arguing will make you right.
